What is THE TABLE?
Join us for an open, relaxed forum where you can ask questions you’ve had about God, faith, life—big or small, simple or deep. Nothing is off-limits, and there’s no pressure or judgement—just honest conversation in a safe, welcoming space. After our discussion, we’ll offer an invitation to join us in a time of worship, with room for reflection and prayer, and possibly a short word of encouragement. Whether you’re curious, searching, or simply want to connect, this is a place for you. Come as you are. Bring your questions. Experience community. Encounter hope.
Why do we host THE TABLE?
To meet people where they are
Jesus met people at tables, in homes, and in everyday places. We want to do the same—bringing faith into real life.
To create space for honest questions
We want to provide a safe, open environment where anyone can ask real questions about God, without fear of judgment.
Because the Church is about people, not buildings
We believe church isn’t confined to four walls—it’s about community and connection wherever people gather.
To focus on relationships over programs
Our heart is to build authentic relationships, not just run a program. This night is about connection, not performance.
To provide a space open to everyone
Whether you’re curious, skeptical, or committed, you’re welcome. No pressure—just come as you are.
To offer Bible-based responses with humility
We want to approach every question with an open heart and respond with grace and truth from Scripture.
To explore an alternative way of doing "church"
We believe the future of church is relational, conversational, and accessible—where people feel seen and heard.
To create a rhythm of prayer and worship
After conversation, we’ll move into worship and prayer—a chance to experience God’s presence together.
Who is hosting THE TABLE?
This evening is hosted by Rend Ministries, a mobile prayer and worship ministry that serves Southern New England. Our heart is to invite people into a posture of worship and prayer and to create space for God to move. Rooted in Joel 2:13 and Isaiah 64:1, we seek to see hearts opened to the Father and lives transformed by the power of His presence. We will partner with other local ministers to create an environment where we have a true representation of the body of Christ and the variety in the people that He has created.

Light refreshments and coffee will be available
Plan for 90 minutes or more, but come and go as you like. We will stay as long as people desire to remain.
